WE ARE BACK! Following a successful Annual General Meeting, the Dufftown Games Committee are full speed ahead in their planning to bring you our 130th annual highland games on Saturday July 30, 2022. Covid permitting we are planning on a full day of events. We will keep you posted.

In these unprecedented times it was with much regret that the Committee had to cancel the 2021 Dufftown Games. The focus is now on the 130th Games which are planned for Saturday 30 July 2022. There will be a full programme of events and will see the town again welcome friends old and new.

The Games are always very grateful for the continued support and generosity of our sponsors, local businesses and individuals, and the loyal team of volunteers without you the Games would not be possible. The Committee are very much looking forward to working with you all on the build up to the 2022 Games and to enjoy a ‘convivial’ moment as we celebrate the return of the Games!

Stay safe and well!

The Dufftown Games Committee

Dufftown Highland Games has lost a true friend, George Thomson (Geordie), who sadly passed away in April. Geordie was a loyal and great supporter of all things Dufftown Games for many years and come rain or shine you could always count on Geordie. Geordie will be sadly missed by all the Dufftown Games Committee and the wider team of volunteers.
17th April 2020.

As always, the health and wellbeing of our community, competitors, sponsors, loyal supporters and our committee is our top priority. After much discussion it is with regret and disappointment that the Committee has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Dufftown Highland Games following the latest Government updates on the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
The next Games will take place on Saturday 31 July 2021.

The Games could not be held without the generous support of our sponsors and dozens of volunteers. Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM. If you are new to Dufftown or have not been part of the games in the past, please come out and become part of a very special event for our town.  Thursday 14 November, 1900 hrs at the Commercial Hotel, Dufftown.
