Dufftown Highland Games - Saturday 26 July 2025
The Dufftown Highland Games have been held on the last Saturday in July since 1892.
Today they are a taste of something Scottish for everybody with a full programme of light and heavy events, massed pipe bands, highland dancing and hill race.
A rare opportunity to participate in a traditional Highland Games awaits visitors from overseas in joining the Overseas Race which takes place during the afternoon. Whether you are a competitor in one of our many events, live in the area and looking for the perfect day out for the family, or have come to Scotland from across the world for your vacation, the Dufftown Highland Games is the ideal day out for you and your family.

The Committee
To commemorate his 10 year tenure our Games Chieftain, Alex Grant has arranged for a £500 bonus to be paid to the winners in the Tug Of War competitions (Open and men's STOWA). ​
A £300 bonus is paid to competitors breaking any of the current Dufftown Highland Games records.
